Eligibility Criteria for SHIAT 2019:
50 per cent seats in the institute are reserved for Christian candidates only. General and reserved quota candidates are allowed to fill in applications for remaining 50 per cent of the total seats.
15 per cent UG seats and 25 per cent PG seats for courses at SHIAT will be available or candidates sitting for the ICAR-conducted all-India entrance examination as well.
Candidates deemed eligible for SHIAT-EE for undergraduate courses will have to be:
10+2 qualified from a recognized board, with 50 per cent marks in any stream as per the eligibility criteria.
The Institute has reserved quotas for scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, other backward classes and physically handicapped candidates. For all these candidates, the eligible cut-off for application is set at 45 per cent at 10+2 level.
Candidates appearing in the 10+2 examination too are eligible to appear for SHIAT EE 2019. However, all documentary evidence of the same must be furnished at the time of counselling.
Candidates deemed eligible for SHIAT-EE for postgraduate courses will have to be:
Graduates with a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with atleast 50 per cent marks in the relevant discipline.

B.Ed Eligibility criteria:
Candidates having 50 per cent marks in the bachelor’s or master’s degree with two school subjects part of their graduation study are deemed eligible.
Every candidate will have to teach 20 lessons/2 years teaching experience in any two subjects given below:
M.Ed Eligibility criteria:
The candidate must have a B.Ed degree with 55 per cent marks in the same.
B.PEd Eligibility criteria:
Candidate must be a graduate in any stream with physical education as an elective. He/she must have scored 45 per cent in the same.
He/she must have participated in the all-India inter-university competition.

Application Process for SHIAT EE 2019:
Once the candidate is deemed eligible to apply for SHIAT EE 2019, he/she can in the application process for the same. Make sure that the application form is submitted before the last date; else the same will be rejected by the authority.
Make sure you fill in all relevant personal and academic details. The application form is available via post.
The form is also available with the Prospectus at the office of the institute.
The form is available offline between Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm.
Check if all fields are duly filled. Mention the test centre of your choice.
For offline applications, you will obtain the application form after paying the fees via a crossed bank draft to:

For UG courses, the challan generated will have to be of INR 1200 and the same will be NR 1400 for PG programmes. The same can be deposited after taking a print out at Punjab National Bank or Axis Bank branches across the country.
Candidates can also pay via SBI Collect, online banking, debit/credit cards after submitting the form online.
Once this is done, a challan copy with the candidate photograph affixed must be sent to the registrar’s office at the address
