Eligibility Criteria for IMU CET 2017:
The IMU CET eligibility criteria define certain protocol to be followed by the candidates to apply for a course. The IMU CET eligibility criteria are defined by the examination conducting authority. The candidate must ensure that he or she satisfies all the requirements specified by the authorities for the exam as per the eligibility criteria or else his or her v candidature will be cancelled.
The eligibility criteria for IMU CET 2017 is as follows:
Married candidates are not eligible to appear for the IMU CET exam.
Prior to taking admission to any of the courses, the candidates are advised to apply for passport.
There is an age relaxation of 5 years for reserved candidates.
Candidates who want to seek admission in any of the marine courses must provide medical fitness certificate from any of the doctors approved by the Director General of Shipping to satisfy the eligibility criteria for IMU CET.
Candidates, who are appearing for the qualifying exam on or before 31st May, 2017 are also eligible to take the IMU CET exam.

University Common Entrance Test [IMU CET] 2017 Syllabus
IMU CET 2017 Syllabus:
The applicant should be thorough with the syllabus of CBSE, ISE and State Boards of H.S.C class. The syllabus includes the following:
Gravitation, Electromagnetic Induction and A.C., Electrons and Photons, Radioactivity, Semiconductors, Heat Radiation, Wave Motion and Sound, Fluids, S.H.M., Rotational Motion of a Rigid Body, Magnetic Effects of Electric Current, Current Electricity, Electrostatics, Ray Optics, Wave Theory etc.
Nuclear and Radio Chemistry, Halogen Derivatives of Alkanes and organic hydroxy Compounds, Chemistry of Transition and Inner Transition Elements, Electrochemistry, Chemical Thermodynamics and Energetics, Nature of Chemical Bond II, Adsorption and Colloids, Carbohydrates, Proteins and Fats, Chemical Kinetics, Coordination Chemistry etc.
Probability, boolean algebra, linear inequations, limits and continuity, vector and 3-d geometry, matrices, statics & dynamics, indefinite integrals, definite integrals & its application, differential equations, etc.

IMU CET 2017 Application Procedure:
The following is the procedure to apply for IMU CET:
Applicants must log in to the official website of Indian Maritime University which is http://www.imu.edu.in/.
Click on the Apply Online Link on the home page. The IMU CET application form appears that the applicant is required to fill in.
Fill all the required details in the IMU CET application form.
The following are the details asked to fill:
Check all the details before submitting the IMU CET form.
Upload a recent photo and signature as per the specifications.
Attach the required documents such as mark sheets.
Click the Submit button to submit the details.
Pay the IMU CET application fee by providing bank slip details.
Take the print out of the application fee and preserve it for future reference.

Certificate of proof of reserved category
High school passing certificate or any other proof of age
Certificate showing the passing of H.S.C exam
Provisional certificate in case of graduation passing
