About OJEE 2017:
Commonly referred to as the OJEE, Odisha Joint Entrance Examination is a popular test that candidates aspiring to study engineering at the graduation level in Odisha can take. The state colleges have a number of seats for B.Tech in a number of engineering disciplines. The seats used to be filled as per the performance of candidates taking the JEE Mains. However, since 2015, the state introduced OJEE for candidates willing to take admissions into the colleges in Odisha. The OJEE exam will be held in the month of May 2017.
You must note that no other entrance examination will be held by any authority for admission to B.Tech in the Odisha state colleges.

Eligibility criteria for OJEE 2017:
Candidates willing to apply for OJEE 2017 must have the following qualifications:
Candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination of Odisha Board or CHSE with Physics and Maths as main subjects are allowed to apply as it is set as the eligibility criteria by the head of OJEE.
The candidate must also have studied one of the subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subject, Electronics, IT, Computer Science, Geology, Statistics to fulfil the eligibility criteria of OJEE.
The candidate must be an Indian national to satisfy the eligibility criteria of OJEE
Candidates must have scored at least 45 per cent aggregate marks in the qualifying examination
The University has reserved quotas for scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backward classes and physically handicapped candidates. For such candidates, the aggregate marks required at the graduate level qualifying exam is 40 per cent.
The candidate need not fulfil any minimum age criterion to qualify the eligibility criteria for taking OJEE.
