About HPCET:

Himachal Pradesh Combined Entrance Test is conducted every year by the Himachal Pradesh Technical University and is largely referred to as HPCET.

HPCET is a state-level entrance test organized to shortlist deserving candidates for admissions in various engineering courses and other courses like Pharmacy, MBA, MCA to various institutes in the state of Himachal Pradesh.

The B.Tech seats in various colleges of Himachal Pradesh state are offered to the aspiring students on the basis of the JEE Main 2019 or the HPCET merit. In a single year, around 50,000 candidates are applying for 7,292 total available seats in various Institutes of Himachal Pradesh.

The students are advised to visit the official website of Himachal Pradesh Technical University to fill up the HPCET application form available from the month of March 2019.

Eligibility	Eligibility criteria for HPCET: The aspiring candidates willing to apply for HPCET 2019 are advised to go through the HPCET eligibility criteria set by the HPCET examining authority. Those who want to get enrolled in the upcoming test must meet the HPCET eligibility criteria in order to apply for the test. The Applicant must possess citizenship of India and Domicile of Himachal Pradesh to satisfy the HPCET eligibility criteria. The Applicants must have passed his/her 12th examination from any recognized school or University of Himachal Pradesh state to satisfy the HPCET eligibility criteria. The Applicants must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics as their subjects to satisfy the HPCET eligibility criteria. The Applicants must have secured at least 45% marks in 12th class to complete the requirements of the HPCET eligibility criteria. The Applicants falling in the reserved category (SC/ST) must hold a minimum score of 40% marks in 10+2 to satisfy the HPCET eligibility criteria. Age of Applicants must be between 16 years to 20 years as per the HPCET eligibility criteria.

Syllabus	Syllabus for HPCET: The HPCET 2019 will follow the 10+2 syllabus of CBSE or State board. Fill up the HPCET application form with the necessary details. The candidate must make sure to fill up the form correctly.

Paste the passport size photo and do the valid signature where required.

Submit the duly filled HPCET application form along with HPCET application fee either in cash or demand draft.Students can find the address of the University below.
