Eligibility Criteria for APICET:
Satisfying the following APICET eligibility criteria is mandatory
To be eligible to appear for APICET,
The candidate must be an Indian Nationals.
He/she must satisfy local / non-local status requirements laid down in the Andra Pradesh State Educational Institutions.
The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the eligibility criteria of the Universities concerned.
If the qualifying Degree is obtained in a Distance Mode Program, then it must be recognized by the joint committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC.
Candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also apply provided their results will be announced before the counseling process.
Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies.
Qualifying marks in APICET - 2017 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates
The candidates seeking for admission:
For MBA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree Examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC,ST reserved categories) in the qualifying examination to fulfill the eligibility criteria set by APICET
For MCA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC,ST reserved categories) in the qualifying examination with Mathematics or one of the subjects at 10+2 level to be eligible to write APICET.
Qualification for APICET 2017:
Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to be eligible to get into MBA/MCA course unless the candidate:
Satisfies all the eligibility criteria for admission as stipulated by the authority concerned.
Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for part- time\evening\distance mode).
Appears for Counseling at the notified Centers.

Arithmetical Ability –
Laws of indices, ratio and proportion; surds; numbers and divisibility, l.c.m. and g.c.d; Rational numbers, Ordering.; Percentages; Profit and loss; Partnership, Pipes and cisterns, time, distance and work problems, areas and volumes, mensuration, modular arithmetic.
Algebraic and Geometrical Ability –
It includes questions from Statements, Truth tables, implication converse and inverse, Tautologies-Sets, Relations and functions, applications – Equation of a line in different forms and Trigonometry.
Statistical Ability –
It includes questions from Frequency distributions, Mean, Median, Mode, Standard Deviation, Correlation, simple problems on Probability.

Application process for APICET 2017:
The eligible candidate should fill an online form which begins from the first week of February 2017 and lasts till last week of March 2017 with a fine . The eligible candidate can log into the official site to apply for APICET.
Registration process for the eligible candidate:
The eligible candidate has to follow the registration process given by APICET mentioned below:
The candidate who satisfies the eligibility criteria has to visit the official APICET website
The eligible candidate has to click on “Apply Online”.
He/ she has to choose their preferred exam center out of the options given.
The eligible candidate has to complete filling all the details about their education.
He/ she has to upload a photograph and a signature in JPG format and click on SUBMIT.
Payment of Application Fees:
The eligible candidate can make the payment for the application fees through Credit/ Debit card, Online or through E-Seva. The forms are accepted until the last week of March 2017 with late fee of Rs. 5000/-. The application fee is Rs. 350/- for the eligible candidate.
Online Mode : If the eligible candidate chooses to pay via AP Online / e-Seva / MeeSeva, he/she must complete the payment at AP Online Centers before starting to fill the APICET application form online. For this they can follow these steps:
Visit any one of the AP Online Centers with Hall ticket number of a qualifying exam, candidate’s name, and candidate’s father’s name, date of birth of candidate, hall ticket number of SSC or equivalent and candidate’s phone number.
Pay in cash and collect the receipt of payment which contains a transaction ID.
