Eligibility Criteria for BLAT 2017:
The following is the eligibility criteria for BLAT 2017:
The applicant must have cleared class XII exam from any recognized Board or University to fulfill the eligibility criteria of BLAT.
The applicants belonging to General category must have passed the qualifying exam with a minimum of 50 per cent marks as the eligibility criteria.
Similarly, in the case of applicants belonging to OBC category, a minimum of 45 per cent marks is required and 40 per cent in case of SC or ST categories as the eligibility criteria.
The applicants who are going to appear for the class XII exam can also apply, provided they fulfill all the eligibility criteria while attending the counseling process for BLAT.
The applicant’s age should be less than 22 years for appearing for BLAT 2017 exam.
Those who have already done bachelor's degree and are applying for BLAT for other courses should be less than 25 years

Syllabus for BLAT 2017:
In BLAT 2017, a candidate is asked questions from various topics that are related to his/her course of study as well. However, the topics that are covered in BLAT 2017 Syllabus are very common/ general and can be attempted by a student of any background or area of study.
All the 150 MCQs that are asked in BLAT Paper are framed from these topics.

The following is the procedure to apply for BLAT 2017:
The application form for BLAT 2017 will be available online on the official website of the university.
Candidates who satisy the eligibility criteria can apply for the exam after filling the form online for BLAT.
The application form for BLAT will be out on January 29, 2017
The applicant must enter all the mandatory details in the application form.
Once the application form is filled, the applicant must pay some amount as application fee using online payment mode.
For General category applicants, the application fee is Rs. 500/- for BLAT
Whereas, for SC/ST and OBC applicants, the application fee is Rs. 250/- for BLAT.
Payment for BLAT 2017:
The application fee for BLAT can be paid using any of the following modes of payment:
Bank Challan at HDFC branches
Important points for BLAT:
The application fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another program and cannot be reserved for any succeeding year.
Applicants who have fulfilled the eligibility criteria for BLAT are required to take the printout of the filled application form for future reference.
