About AP LAWCET:

AP LAWCET is an entrance exam for admission in Law course. Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education conducts the AP LAWCET. It is a UG exam conducted for students to take admission in law courses in various colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Eligible candidates can apply for the AP CET exam by filling the application form on the official website.

Eligibility

AP LAWCET Eligibility criteria:

Applicants who fulfil the below eligibility criteria are eligible for the AP LAWCET examination:

Eligibility criteria for 3 years L.L.B:

  • Applicants should be passed in their Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent degree from a recognised university to be eligible for the AP LAWCET examination.
  • Applicants must score a minimum of 45% of aggregate marks in their Higher Secondary Examination to be eligible for the AP LAWCET entrance exam.
  • The maximum age limit for a candidate seeking admission into the 3-year LL.B Course shall be Thirty Years (relaxable by five years in the case of SCs/STs) as on 31st December of the year of seeking admission, to be eligible for the AP LAWCET examination.

Eligibility criteria for 5 years L.L.B:

  • Applicants passed in Higher Secondary or its equivalent exam is eligible for the AP LAWCET examination only if they have passed from a recognised University.
  • Applicants must have scored aggregate of 45% marks in their Higher Secondary Exams to be eligible for the AP LAWCET examination (40% in case of SC/ ST applicants)
  • The maximum age limit for a candidate seeking admission into the 5-year LL.B Course shall be twenty years (relaxable by two years in the case of SCs/STs) respectively as on 31st December of the year of seeking admission, to be eligible for the AP LAWCET examination.

Steps to apply for AP LAW CET examination:

Following are the steps to apply for the AP LAWCET examination if the applicant satisfies the eligibility criteria:

  • Visit the offical website of AP LAWCET examination
  • Click on “Apply Online” and register using the required details.
  • Pay the AP LAWCET exam registration fees online through Debit/ Credit card and save the transaction ID.
  • After making payment,fill in your personal details such as Name, Address, Category, Qualification and other information as required in the application form.
  • Upload a recent passport size photograph and signature as mentioned in the form and submit it.
