Eligibility Criteria for AILET 2017:
The students must fall within the given AILET eligibility criteria set by the examining authority to appear for the AILET entrance exam.
The candidates appearing for B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) course, must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum 50% aggregate to satisfy AILET eligibility.
To be eligible, the candidates must not exceed 21 years on or after 1 July, 2017 (23 years in case of SC/ST category) for B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) programme.
The candidates willing to enroll for LL.M. (One year) programme & PG Diploma programme, must have completed LL.B. or an Equivalent Law Degree securing a minimum 55% marks (for general candidates) and 50% marks (for SC, ST or PwD candidates) for eligibility.
The candidates appearing for final year are also eligible to apply for AILET 2017.
Note: If the candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria, he/she will not be eligible to write the AILET exam.
The candidate has to satisfy ALL the AILET Eligibility Criteria, not one.
Faking about eligibility or lying about eligibility will not be tolerated and will lead to the cancellation of the candidate's AILET Application.

English Syllabus for AILET 2017:
There will be 35 questions in the AILET English section. This section will cover the following topics-

Fill in the blanks
There will be unseen passages questions related to the passages.
General knowledge Syllabus for AILET 2017:
The General Knowledge section will consist of 35 questions.
The AILET Question Paper will cover topics as mentioned below-
The AILET question paper will also comprise questions based recent happenings and general awareness related to last one year.
Mathematics Syllabus for AILET 2017:
This AILET Test section will have 10 questions to test the numerical ability of candidates.
The mathematics questions will be set from 10th to 12th level and will include topics as below-
Profit and loss
Speed and distance
Time and distance
Time and work
Permutation & combination
Legal aptitude Syllabus for AILET 2017:
The 35 question from this section will be framed on legal propositions. The propositions may not be true in a real sense and you will have to assume the true proposition based on the set of facts and answer the question accordingly.
This AILET Test section will consist of questions related to below topics-

Logical reasoning Syllabus for AILET 2017:
There shall be 35 questions testing your logical and analytical reasoning skills.
The candidates will be tested on questions and answers from passages whereas the reasoning questions will be framed on the transformation provided in the passages.

Application Process for AILET 2017:
Applications for this AILET test will be accepted in online mode only.
Applicants must visit the official website of National Law University and register to appear for the AILET examination.
After the AILET registration process, applicants are now ready to fill the AILET application form.
Applicants must click on AILET 2017 and fill up the basic details correctly to register for AILET 2017.
AILET Applicants are required to fill up their personal, qualification and other details as mentioned in the AILET application form.
To complete the procedure, applicants need to pay their application fees through DD in favour of Registrar, National Law University, Delhi payable at Delhi.
