Exam Description:

About AP EAMCET:

Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada(JNTUK) on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). 
EAMCET is compulsory for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The AP EAMCET is a national level examination, with admission for the candidates who have cleared the AP EAMCET only in Andhra Pradesh. The AP EAMCET is offered in Telegu, English and Urdu.
The AP EAMCET is conducted for entrance into Engineering, Medical and Agricultural courses. The AP EAMCET examination is managed by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Hyderabad. There are 16 participating colleges.

Eligibility
Eligibility Criteria for AP EAMCET 2017:

There are pre-announced eligibility criteria set by the University. These are obligatory norms which the aspirants must follow before filling the application form for AP EAMCET.
If candidates eligibility does not fall under the pre-set terms and conditions for eligibility for AP EAMCET examination, their application form for AP EAMCET examination will be rejected.
The candidates are requested to go through the Eligibility Criteria carefully before applying for AP EAMCET.

Eligibility Criteria for AP EAMCET 2017:

For B.Tech, Pharmacy and B.Sc:
Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders to satisfy eligibility criteria.
Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh to satisfy eligibility criteria.
Candidates should satisfy local and non – local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions to satisfy eligibility criteria.
Candidate must have cleared or appeared for Class 12th or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to satisfy eligibility criteria.
Candidate must have cleared or appeared for Diploma Engineering Examinations to satisfy eligibility criteria.
General and OBC candidates for AP EAMCET in AP must secure 45% in 12th examination for PCM (PCB for AP EAMCET pharmacy applicants) to satisfy eligibility criteria.
SC candidates for AP EAMCET in AP must secure 40% in 12th examination for PCM (PCB for AP EAMCET pharmacy applicants) to satisfy eligibility criteria.
In the case of Engineering and Pharmacy courses, candidates must have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission with no upper age limit to satisfy eligibility criteria.
In the case of B. Tech (Dairy Technology), B. Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B. Tech. (FST) and B.Sc. (CA & BM), candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for General and OBC candidates and 25 years in respect of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year of Admission to satisfy eligibility criteria.

Application Process for AP EAMCET 2017:

  • Fill up the AP EAMCET admission form.
  • Candidates must provide a print out of the filled form.
  • Fees can be paid through online using AP online/ TS online/credit/debit card.

Process for applying for AP EAMCET 2017:

Candidates must follow the following process to apply for AP EAMCET 2017

  • Fill in the required details
  • The AP EAMCET application form can be filled after paying the fees and filling in all mandatory fields
  • Pay application fee of through AP online/TS online/debit/credit card.
  • Scanned photograph and signature must be uploaded
  • Candidates must acquire a xerox copy of AP EAMCET application form.
