AMEEE 2017:

Aircraft Maintenance engineering Entrance Examination (AMEEE 2017) is a national level entrance exam conducted by Indraprasth institute of aeronautics for the students aspiring to get admission into aircraft maintenance engineering courses. It is one of the most renowned entrance examinations conducted for the undergraduates.
The entrance examination is carried out successfully every year by Indraprasth Institute of Aeronautics. It gives new avenues to the careers of students in the field of aeronautics. Candidates can download the application form from the official website.
The objective to conduct the test is to shortlist the deserving students from the crowd of numerous applicants, as there  are limited number of seats available in the University and its associated colleges.

Eligibility
Eligibility Criteria for AMEEE 2017:

The applicants are requested to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Entrance Examination - AMEEE 2017.
The minimum eligibility for this course is 10th grade.
The candidates holding a degree of 10+2 or an equivalent exam from any recognized board or university are directly eligible.
The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to satisfy the eligibility criteria.
NRI and OCI applicants are also eligible to apply for the exam along with Indian students.
The age limit requires candidates to be above 16 years and below 23 years of age to be eligible.
However, some leniency might be shown in age eligibility criteria the case of engineering diploma holders and science graduates (50%).
Candidates holding a three-year diploma course in any branch of engineering or B.Sc. degree holders after Plus Two with maths, physics, and chemistry are eligible for admission to AME training courses.
There is no gender bias and both men and women are eligible to take up this course.

Syllabus
Syllabus for AMEEE 2017:

The AMEEE syllabus covers topics from Classes XI and XII. The syllabus will comprise of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry as subjects. It is important for students to revise the concepts of these two classes thoroughly as they will be the testing ground for the students.
It is advised to aspiring students that the exam preparation should be completed one or two weeks before the exam so that students are left with ample time to revise the concepts.

Mode of application
Application Process for AMEEE 2017:

To apply for AMEEE 2017, students must follow the step by step procedure as given below.

  • Click on the official website  or purchase the  application form from the Institute counter.
  • Download the application form
  • Fill in the required details like name, father’s name, 10th and 12th marks.
  • Upload a photo and a valid signature.
  • The candidates applying via offline mode can fill their form and submit to the main office of the university.
  • The candidates applying via online mode should upload the duly filled application form and press “Submit”.
  • Further, collect the print of the form and send it to the University office
  • Documents that are required to be sent along with Application form:
  • Attested copies of marks sheets and certificates of 10th and 12th class
  • Medical certificates from recognized Doctor
  • Character Certificate
  • 4 Passport size Photographs
  • 1 Self-addressed stamped envelope. Stamp value Rs. 40/- on each envelope
  • Foreign National students will have to submit the following documents:
  • No objection certificate from Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi. The prescribed form will be given to students after admission.
  • Equivalent certificate from AIU in respect of Educational Qualification obtained.
  • Original passport and visa.
  • Income Certificate of Parents.
  • Domicile Certificate.
  • Cast Certificate.
